Do It Yourself – Financial Teaching – Part 1

Summary

This teaching series titled “Do It Yourself” focuses on trusting God’s wisdom and following His instructions to receive blessings in all areas of life, particularly in financial matters. The passage from Proverbs 30:24-25, referencing the ant’s preparation in summer, illustrates the importance of preparation and following God’s guidance, even when the task seems small or difficult. The Pastor emphasizes that God’s wisdom, outlined in scriptures like James 3:17 and Proverbs 1:2-5, is not only about making decisions but also about obedience to His instructions.

The teaching stresses that many of us miss blessings because we lack trust in God’s wisdom, which is full of peace, mercy, and sincerity. Proverbs 3:1-10 highlights the importance of following God’s commands, which bring peace, prosperity, and guidance through life’s challenges. The idea is that financial blessings and stability come when we adhere to God’s instructions, like tithing and budgeting wisely. The speaker uses examples, such as the importance of calculating costs before making financial decisions (Luke 14:28), to show how God’s wisdom applies to managing resources.

Tithing is a central focus, with references to Malachi 3:10-11 showing the promises that come with faithful giving: blessings from heaven and protection from unforeseen hardships. The final message is that success in 2025—and beyond—depends on listening to God’s Spirit and following His guidance. The Pastor encourages everyone to trust in God’s wisdom, be attentive to His Spirit, and act on His instructions for life, peace, and prosperity.
