Description:
“Master’s Life – The Disciple’s Cross” is a foundational discipleship class designed to help believers grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. It is part of the Master’s Life series, which focuses on building a life fully committed to Jesus through biblical principles and practical application.
In this specific study, the Disciple’s Cross represents a model of discipleship centered around abiding in Christ and maintaining spiritual balance. The cross is divided into key elements symbolizing essential disciplines of the Christian life, including:
- Abiding in Christ: Developing a personal, daily relationship with Jesus through prayer, worship, and the study of God’s Word.
- The Word: Consistently reading, meditating on, and applying the Scriptures as the guide for life and faith.
- Prayer: Cultivating a vibrant prayer life, learning to rely on God in all circumstances.
- Fellowship: Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with other believers to encourage and hold one another accountable.
- Witnessing: Sharing the love and message of Christ with others, fulfilling the Great Commission.
- Service: Actively serving others as an expression of faith and obedience to Christ.
Through weekly lessons, scripture memorization, practical assignments, and group discussions, participants are encouraged to grow in spiritual maturity, develop disciplines that shape a Christ-centered life, and understand what it truly means to take up their cross and follow Jesus.
